Description
Usyncro is a cloud-based logistics solution that digitizes shipments and synchronizes workflows across borders, time zones, and teams. It simplifies logistics through automation, real-time collaboration, and blockchain-powered traceability.
Engagement
2+ years (Principal Product Designer – Ongoing Freelance)
Brief
Design a messaging feature that enables real-time collaboration between users within the platform, then evolve the product’s brand and interface design as the platform expands in complexity and scale.

Challenge
Usyncro operates in the complex world of global logistics, where supply chains often involve fragmented communication, scattered documentation, and a lack of real-time visibility. The platform's mission was to bring all stakeholders into one shared space — to digitize and simplify operations, making them faster, more secure, and more transparent.
Initially, I was brought in to design a messaging tool to help users communicate efficiently across workflows. But it quickly became clear that the platform’s UX and visual language needed to evolve in parallel with its growth. The existing design lacked cohesion and clarity, especially as new features were added.
This was not only a design challenge — it was a product vision challenge. Usyncro needed a designer who could think strategically, move fast, and collaborate with both founders and engineers to bring simplicity to complexity.
Approach
I started by designing the messaging feature specifically, ensuring that interactions were intuitive, permissions were clearly defined, and communication was contextual to the workspace.
As trust in my work grew, I was asked to take on a broader role: shaping the platform’s design direction. Over two years, I became the principal product designer, guiding everything from UX flows to brand consistency.
Here’s what the team did:
Designed a robust, flexible messaging system that integrated seamlessly into the platform's workflows.
Evolved the product’s visual language to reflect its technical maturity while improving user focus and accessibility.
Created a design system to unify components and speed up development.
Brought consistency across mobile and desktop experiences, aligning visual and interaction patterns.
Collaborated closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to translate logistics logic into clear UX solutions.
Adapted quickly to new requirements and business goals as the product scaled.
Outcome
What began as a single feature design turned into a long-term partnership. The result is a significantly more cohesive, efficient, and user-friendly logistics platform trusted by major players across the supply chain. Beyond interface improvements, the biggest outcome was strategic: design became a central part of product thinking at Usyncro. I helped bring clarity to complexity — simplifying workflows, aligning teams, and supporting a platform built on precision and transparency.
