  • Description

  • Deepme aimed to bring the richness of digital identity into everyday, physical interactions. The product allowed users to share tailored personal information through a unique, scannable code — adjustable for different contexts like social, professional, or events.

  • Engagement

  • 3 months (Freelance Product Designer)

  • Brief

  • Create a fast, user-friendly MVP — both brand and product — to validate product-market fit for a new kind of social sharing experience.

  • Challenge

  • In a world saturated with digital presence, Deepme aimed to create a product that brought curated digital identity into real-life interactions. The concept was simple: give users one scannable code they could customize to show just the right version of themselves—professional, casual, social, or even anonymous.

This was a compact but conceptually rich project, where the main challenge was speed: build just enough design — identity and interface — to support a quick test in the market, without sacrificing clarity or cohesion.

The app’s idea was nuanced, but our window for validation was tight. We had to move quickly, with a clear hierarchy of design priorities: make it understandable, make it feel modern, and make it flexible enough for user scenarios from dating to networking.

We also needed a brand that could support early trust and memorability, even if it wasn’t final. Designing “just enough” while planning for scalability later was a key part of my role.

  • Approach

    • Developed a lightweight visual identity on the go, designed to be effective for MVP testing without investing in a full brand system.

    • Delivered high-fidelity app designs focused on clarity, minimal onboarding, and ease of use.

    • Designed core flows for profile creation, QR sharing, and viewing other profiles with varying privacy levels.

    • Focused on flexibility, allowing users to customize how they’re represented depending on the situation.

  • Outcome

  • We launched a quick, polished MVP that made it easy to test assumptions and collect feedback. The result was a sleek prototype that allowed us to assess whether the project had traction, with a design system that provided a strong foundation for further iterations.
