Alldefi simplifies the way people invest in decentralized finance by offering intuitive tools designed for both crypto newcomers and more seasoned users.

Brief
Create a user-friendly investment platform that lowers the entry barrier to DeFi and makes decentralized crypto investing feel safe, easy, and approachable.
Challenge
The DeFi space is notoriously complex, full of jargon, and often tailored to users with a high level of technical or financial literacy. Alldefi’s mission was to make this world more approachable for everyday users who wanted to invest without needing to understand the intricacies of blockchains, staking, or gas fees.
The existing market was saturated with platforms like dYdX or Uniswap that catered to a highly proficient audience, leaving a significant gap for users looking for a smoother, friendlier path into DeFi. Alldefi needed a clear user experience that could inspire confidence and make complex systems feel simple.
The design challenge was to translate technically dense concepts into a user interface that felt light, secure, and self-explanatory — reducing the intimidation factor while still retaining the power of a serious investment tool.
Approach
To meet Alldefi’s goals, I focused on simplifying complexity through structure, tone, and visual clarity. My approach included:
Collaborated with marketing and engineering teams to deeply understand the technical mechanics and identify areas where users commonly felt confused or overwhelmed.
Defined a UX flow that prioritised clarity, progressive disclosure, and goal-oriented actions.
Created a tone of voice for UX writing that made DeFi feel human and supportive, avoiding jargon in favor of plain language.
Designed a visual system based on trust-building aesthetics: clean layouts, soft gradients, and clear hierarchy.
Prototyped and tested onboarding flows to make sure users understood the value and process of their first investment.
Outcome
The result is a product experience that opens the door to DeFi for everyday investors. The platform speaks clearly, looks trustworthy, and guides users through each action with confidence. Alldefi now offers a frictionless entry point to a typically overwhelming ecosystem — a platform designed to scale alongside its users, whether they’re just getting started or growing into more complex investments.
